Dr Takanori Kitamura
Takanori is a Senior Lecturer at the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health, University of Edinburgh. He started his own lab there in 2013 to study tumour immunology and has been studying suppressive effects of tumour-associated macrophages on cytotoxic lymphocytes, in particular natural killer (NK) cells, using in vitro and mouse models of metastatic breast cancer.
