Join Irit Narkiss as she explains her investigative conservation of a Romano-Egyptian faience pot. The development of the Ancient Worlds Galleries was an opportunity to examine and treat some objects that had been in the stores for far too long. Come to hear about the technological characteristics of faience-like materials; discuss the conservation ethos and the conservation process.
