Come along to Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre for an informal and fun evening of Astrophotography. You'll enjoy an Introduction to Astrophotography workshop (co-presented by Dr. Ant Holloway and our own in-house staff), along with a chance for you to try out your equipment, talk to our knowledgeable team, and meet like-minded people.
You’ll learn how to use your DSLR or Compact System Camera to get started in Astrophotography, and discover how you can use simple equipment such as a tripod, to capture different images of the night sky, from planets and constellations to the colours of stars and star trails. You’ll also be able to look at additional equipment you can use to expand the range of images you make.
No previous knowledge required. Wear a warm coat and bring a flask!
