Discover Days at Manchester offer potential applicants the chance to gain real insight into degree programmes they might study at this University. They provide a great opportunity for participants to gain first-hand experience and make informed decisions about their university choices before the start of the UCAS application process.
The Discover Computer Science Day is designed for students who have a keen interest in studying computer science at degree level. This day will allow participants to get a unique insight into studying computer science at The University of Manchester. Participants will have the opportunity to meet academic staff and current students, and to ask any questions relating to our degree courses. The programme will include an introductory lecture, a talk and workshop, a tour of our School and an opportunity to explore student project work. This would be a fantastic experience to add to personal statements if you’re thinking of applying to study computer science at university.
