It’s a pleasure to invite you to a series of lunchtime sessions to share insights from panel members and award holders from the different NIHR funding schemes.
The sessions are open to researchers from all career stages and disciplines.
Each session will involve brief presentations then a panel Q&A, followed by tea/coffee and time to network. Members of the NW Research Design Service will also be available for advice.
Aims of the sessions include:
- To share internal expertise and insights more widely
- To improve our funding success rates
- To encourage more applications, particularly from early and mid-career researchers
Notes from the session will be compiled into a ‘top tips’ guide by the RDI Team and shared with researchers for future reference.
This second session will be held on 26 April and will focus on Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) with speakers including:
- Professor Kevin Munro – RfPB panel chair
- Professor Katherine Berry – current RfPB panel member
- Dr Chris Kosmidis – current award holder
