A local symposium to disseminate secondary research outputs from academic research
The primary aim of this one-day symposium is to provide a venue for disseminating useful open-access datasets, software, protocols and other resources for academics to aid their future research projects. This symposium (SDIT) provides a convenient and concentrated platform that allows a simple and practical dissemination of research outputs developed as primary or secondary outputs from past/current research projects.
What are secondary research outputs?
These are additional research outputs outside of an academic journal article. These secondary outputs can take multiple forms, ranging from datasets, laboratory protocols, questionnaires, software scripts, and more. The symposium will feature a modular structure, allowing attendees to focus on specific resource blocks of interest, such as blocks on “financial datasets” or blocks on “code for health data analytics”.
