Title: The Magnitude of Metric Spaces
Abstract:
Magnitude is an invariant of metric spaces that is intended as a measure of size of the metric space. Magnitude has connections with enriched category theory, biodiversity, homology, dimension, potential theory and classical notions of size such as volume. I will give an introduction touching on some of these connections.
