“Creating AI applications": Artificial Intelligence will follow the same path as previous technologies where what was once technically complex and difficult quickly becomes something that everyone can do. It is already possible for people with limited technical understanding to create complex AI-driven applications, and this workshop will introduce teachers to tools and techniques with which everyone (including learners) can create web-based applications to assist learning. Among these techniques are facilities for creating applications without any need for individual subscription to AI services. In exploring these techniques, we will discuss the broader implications for the design of learning and the coordination of learning conversations.
