Muzlifah Haniffa is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Principal Investigator in the Human DC Lab funded by a Wellcome Trust Intermediate Fellowship and an award from the British Skin Foundation. She leads work on the functional diversity of human DC populations and recently identified the human tissue homologue of CD8+/CD103+ mouse cross presenting DCs in collaboration with Florent Ginhoux. Muzlifah previously made important contributions to identifying long lived macrophages in human dermis, that maintain allo-stimulatory capacity following haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
