Guests are asked to arrive for 1620 as Question Time will start promptly at 1630 until 1720.
Guests will then move to the nearby Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) for a drinks reception and nibbles, to mingle with academics, researchers, and alumni, until 7pm.
The event is part of the Global Development Institute's celebrations of 60 years of development studies at The University of Manchester.
