This is the compulsory training workshop for PhD students and can be booked via email to acadresdev@manchester.ac.uk. A formal invitation was sent to all incoming PGR Students from the Doctoral Academy before arrival and the course will run several times throughout the year.
Key stages of a research degree and the key skills required will be highlighted during this course e.g. project planning, time management, literature searching and research ethics.
The course will be delivered by the Faculty's Centre for Academic and Researcher Development Team.
