How much tax do large multinational firms pay? Where do they pay it and where should they pay it?

Professor Rachel Griffith will discuss some of the empirical evidence and the implications it has for government policy.

The Royal Economics Society Public Lecture aims to bring the best communicators in the economics profession into contact with a wide public. The lectures are aimed primarily at sixth form students of Economics but are of interest to everyone.

The 2015 RES Annual Public Lecture will be given by Professor Rachel Griffith CBE. Rachel is Professor of Economics at The University of Manchester and Deputy Research Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), a Fellow of the British Academy and Managing Editor of the Economic Journal.
