An evening for people who know and love the Calder Valley and all its weather!
We will be showing a documentary made by Lorenzo Ferrarini. It was made with local residents as part of a research project studying the experiences of the weather and seasons in the Calder Valley. There will be a short introduction from Jennifer Mason, Professor of Sociology at The University of Manchester (and Calder Valley resident). Followed by an informal Q&A. (Film running time: 50 minutes.)
The event is free and we will be collecting donations in aid of Watermark Calderdale, a community-led fund to protect from future flooding.
