To support Fairtrade Fortnight, the FBMH Teaching and Learning Green Impact Team will be running a bake sale on Tuesday 5 March from 13:00 – 14:00 in the Third Floor tea room in the Simon Building.
The campaign for Fairtrade Fortnight 2019 is to ensure that cocoa farmers are paid fairly for their work i.e. a living wage. All money raised from the bake sale will go towards supporting this goal.
If you’d like to get involved by baking some Fairtrade treats (not all ingredients have to be Fairtrade), please email shazia.dar@manchester.ac.uk. It’d be great to get as many people involved as possible.
There’s no need to register for the event so please pop along from 13:00.
