Panel event about the participation of women in science
The panellists will each take turn to talk briefly about their role and their progression at the University and their experience as a woman in science. They will offer hints and tips, as well as discussing the challenges they have faced. There will be time for a Q&A session at the end for the audience to pose questions to the panel.
The panellists will be Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell (President and Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor of Physiology), Professor Dame Tina Lavendar (Professor of Midwifery), Professor Dame Nicky Cullum (Professor of Nursing) and Professor Helen Gleeson (Professor of Physics). The panel will be facilitated by Professor Chris Griffiths (Professor of Dermatology).
