Due to ongoing structural issues adjacent to the Martin Harris Centre the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall is closed. This concert will now go ahead with a change of venue. The concert will now take place in the Royal Northern College of Music Concert Hall at 7.30. Admission is free and seating is unreserved. All other details remain the same. Your support is very much appreciated and we hope that you will still be able to attend.

Antonín Dvo?ák, Piano Quintet No.2 in A major, Op.81
The quartet is joined by pianist and University of Manchester Professor of Music David Fanning for a performance of Dvo?ák’s Piano Quintet No.2. Marc Danel is joined again by David and his wife, Michelle Assay, for a performance of George Enescu’s work Pastorale, Menuet Triste et Nocturne. Prokofiev’s set of 22 miniatures, Visions Fugitives, originally composed for piano, will be performed in the arrangement for string quartet by Sergei Samsonov.
