To everyone interested in single cell sequencing and imaging experiments. We are organising a joint afternoon between researchers in Maths and FBMH to spark ideas for collaborative single cell analysis approaches.
Please sign-up via Eventbrite by Thursday 26 September: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/single-cell-bio-maths-sandpit-tickets-72677511393
Our outline agenda is:
12pm - Lunch
12.30pm - Brief introduction to the types of single-cell experiments
1pm - 10-15 minute presentations around challenges we face in single cell data analysis:
1. Integration of data from multi-omics experiments. i.e integrating ATAC-seq with scRNAseq or integrating spatial transcriptomics with scRNAseq.
2. Inferring dynamic processes from static snapshots of cell populations. Relevant to circadian dynamics as well as genes with oscillatory or pulsatile expression dynamics.
3. Data visualisation. Inferring and observing latent dimensions from 2D or standard t-SNE/UMAP visualisations of scRNAseq data.
2pm-3.30pm - Coffee and break out session to discuss challenges and ideas for collaboration
3.45pm - Talks from Advanced Cell Diagnostics
Expand your capabilities to visualise and localise biomarker expression in tissue: applications of the RNAscope Technology in single cell transcriptomics
The first and only single-cell western platform that lets you do western blotting at the single cell level to understand protein expression heterogeneity
4.45pm onwards - Pizza
