2-4pm. Calling all knitters. As part of the Manchester Science Festival the University stitching group is attempting to knit a hubble telescope image of a rose made up of galaxies. If you’d like to find out more or take away a section to knit come along to The Manchester Museum for a knit and natter. You’ll have an opportunity to find out more about meteorites and roses and meet some fellow knitters. The finished knitted masterpiece will be on display in the Stitch a Solar System event on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October as part of the Manchester Science Festival.
Friday 16 September 12-2pm Saturday 24 September 2-4pm Tuesday 27 September 12noon-2pm.
