This session introduces the use of multinomial logistic regression (a GLM with a logit link) to model unordered categorical data. Simple and complex models from a number of experimental and correlational designs are computed using the R software and interpreted using effect displays. This session also investigates how the multinomial model can replace the simple chi-square test.
