Manchester is the city of the bees. Join our short walk around the nearby streets to find out more. Bees are industrious pollinators living in a strict social and working hierarchy. Just like the industrial city, they produce many useful and popular products, honey, wax, propolis. Hear more about these and about the delicate balance between our only domesticated insect and the people of Manchester, a balance that is looking distinctly uncertain. Book on 0161 275 2648 or museum@manchester.ac.uk, £3

Price: £3
