AI Assisted Conversational Futures
There is much debate, concern, excitement and some confusion about where Artificial Intelligence (particularly chatGPT) is going and what it might mean for education. Importantly, this confusion is a leveller which affects teachers, students, senior managers and policy makers alike. This session is an opportunity for staff and students to use chatGPT as an interlocutor, to discuss different positions and ideas regarding AI relating to their disciplines, assessment, pedagogy, education in general or policy. Our intention is to surface underlying aspirations and concerns through exploring how chatGPT can assist in prompting dialogue between different stakeholders.
