2-3.30pm. Follow the Human Body Trail around Manchester, through museums, across the city centre and into cyberspace! Join our guided walk and discussion in The Manchester Museum (including a peek behind the scenes) or venture out on your own journey of discovery. In our guided walk you can get up close to animals and other exhibits and ponder on the ethical dilemmas behind the displays... How should we treat these remains with respect? Should we clone endangered species to save them? And would you want to mix your genes with a cheetah’s so you can run as fast as them? Have your say at this family friendly tour and behind-the-scenes peek at the Living Worlds Gallery which will be followed by refreshments and a discussion and drawing activity on the past and future of the human body. Trail leaflets will be available online and at The Manchester Museum, Museum of Science and Industry and other venues.
