The Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase (PSRS) is a unique celebration of Research from across the University of Manchester, fostering interdisciplinary networking and promoting a communication of ideas. It is a fantastic opportunity to explore the exciting and innovative research currently being conducted here in Manchester, with postgraduate representatives from the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities. Anyone is welcome to attend!
This year there will be 200 posters on show, with researchers at hand to discuss ideas. A short-film competition and an image competition also encouraged researchers to communicate their research through new media, and the winning entries will be on display. A timetable for the day is:
1030-1300: Poster session 1 (odd numbered posters)
1230-1500: Poster session 2 (even numbered posters)
1500-1600: Refreshments & Public Vote for Image competition
1600-1700: MDC Excellence Awards
A buffet lunch will be available from 12pm-1.30pm.
Note that the two poster sessions overlap
