Join us at Manchester Museum for an evening of weather - take part in the Extreme weather's memories project, explore the Climate Control exhibition or view Snow Scenes,
images of Lake District snow and weather
All with a glass of wine.
Climate Control programme is being developed in partnership with the Tyndall Centre and Global Development Institute at the University of Manchester, and Manchester A Certain Future, the city's climate change strategy and action plan.
Spaces of experience, horizons of expectation: Extreme weather in the UK, past, present and future is a research project of Nottingham, Aberystwyth, Liverpool and Glasgow Universities.
Snow Scenes was an Arts and Humanities Research Council funded project exploring the role of place in weather memories in the United Kingdom.
