Born and brought up on Brick Lane, Raju Vaidyanathan has been taking photographs of the street for nearly 40 years. The quintessential chronicler of Bengali Brick Lane and its people, Raju’s archive of over 40,000 images charts the changes along the Lane since the 1980s.
Raju's online exhibition explores the ‘Indian’ restaurant trade and Banglatown, in collaboration with the Beyond Banglatown research team.
