Stone Flowers are a refugee music collective of torture survivors based in Manchester and will be showcasing their unique repertoire live on International Human Rights Day.
Stone Flowers draw their musical influences from the languages and rhythms of their home countries, which include Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan, to create original and uplifting songs on the themes of resilience, hope, happiness and human rights.
Stone Flowers is a partnership between local charities Music Action International and Freedom from Torture NW.
