The annual Health Studies User Conference is a one-day conference and is free to attend. It is organised by the UK Data Service in collaboration with UCL and NatCen Social Research.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2020 Health Studies User Conference will be held online, replacing the usual in-person conference.
Attendees will hear updates from the data producers of key UK social surveys (cross-sectional and longitudinal studies) with health-related content, such as:
Health Survey for England
Opinions and Lifestyle Survey
Birth Cohort Studies
English Longitudinal Study of Ageing
The presentations from data producers will include updates on the collection of COVID-19 data, among other things.
NHS-Digital will give a presentation with the latest news on access to the health surveys they commission.
There will also be presentations from researchers based on analyses of these data.
