Trends in the Development of Housing for Older People in France: the Growth of Intermediate Housing
This in-person seminar, brought to you by the Manchester Urban Ageing Research Group (MUARG) and the Manchester Institute for Collaborative Research on Ageing (MICRA), will be led by Jim Ogg with Alan Lewis as discussant. The seminar will be followed by a lunch and networking session.
After commencing his career as a social worker in the UK, Jim Ogg studied social research at the University of Surrey and completed his Phd on living alone in later life at Keele University. He has been based in France since 1997 and was Head of the Ageing Research Unit at the French National Pension Fund from 2015 to 2020. He is currently an independent researcher and is undertaking work on poverty indicators as well as participating in a large-scale ageing and housing project research project.
