On Tuesday, 21 February at 2pm, we will welcome Dr Rita Yi Man Li who will present on 'Can a chatbot enhance hazard awareness in the construction industry?'
Dr Rita Yi Man Li serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She has authored over 300 articles and 12 chapters in several books, covering wide range of topics, including but not limited to construction safety and health, SDGs, housing economics, real estate economics, and applied AI.
She is the recipient of highly competitive grants from Research Grant Council, ARC Linkage Grant, and Public Policy Research Grant to name a few. She previously served as an Endeavour Research Fellow at the University of South Australia, a visiting scholar at RMIT in Australia, the University of Regina and Feng Chia University in Taiwan. She has also been involved in grant and research activities at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Over the years, she has won many local and international awards. She is also the founder and director of the Sustainable Real Estate Research Center.
