This open workshop and informal performance is the culmination of a collaboration between The Vonnegut Collective, Animikii Theatre and The University of Manchester. Five postgraduate composition students have developed works for violin, trumpet, bass clarinet and two physical performers. These pieces explore ‘breath’ through movement and sound, highlighting commonalities and differences between the two artforms and how each relates to this topic, something so simple but essential for every one of us.
