The Wise Up Summer School has been designed to give year 10 pupils an insight into life as a student at one of the UK’s leading universities.
Across the week, attendees will stay in halls of residence and take part in an exciting programme of workshops and classes to attend during the day, and a range of social events and activities each evening.
All the activities have been chosen to give a taste of a subject or or activity they might never have done before, so we hope they’ll all have the chance to learn a new skill or maybe even find a new hobby!
This year's participants will try learning Chinese and sign language, level up their presentation skills, try their hands at fashion and textiles, plan a student election campaign, and debate the great social challenges of our time!
Delivered as part of the Greater Manchester Higher Uni:4U summer school programme, the summer school will be open to student studying is Greater Manchester living in wards which are targets of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme.
