Who Cares? A growing collection of stories about people caring for nature across Greater Manchester.
In its first iteration, the Heritage Futures Studio Residency in Manchester Museum welcomes a growing collection of stories and programme of events. Curated by The University of Manchester's Institute of Cultural Practices postgraduate students together with researchers from the Green Infrastructure and Health and Wellbeing Influences on an Ageing Population (GHIA) project, we have asked ourselves; who cares for the nature across Greater Manchester and why does it matter that we continue to do so?
As part of the Manchester Museum’s popular After Hours series, the project partners andstakeholders will come together to celebrate the official opening of the exhibition and the work that has contributed to it. This is a chance for the public to meet the community groups
who have inspired the exhibition, to hear from researcher Dr Rebecca Taylor, and to watch a performance by Joy France. The museum bar will be open and there will be a DJ.
