About the event
We would like to welcome all those who have an interest in pharmacy undergraduate education to the Pharmacy Education Conference on 29th June 2015 in Manchester. This conference seeks to bring together scientists, pharmacists and educators involved in pharmacy teaching. It is an opportunity to meet colleagues from other schools, to share good practice and learn about developments in pharmacy education.
This is the second year that we have run this conference and are seeking to build upon the success last year when over a 100 delegates from schools of pharmacy in the UK attended.
Professor Stephanie Marshall, Chief Executive of the Higher Education Academy will provide the keynote address. The title of her address is, ‘What does excellence look like?’
We also plan to have workshops on assessment and feedback, preparing for accreditation and applying for promotion on teaching grounds. This year we are introducing a technology showcase and have invited colleagues to demonstrate how they have used technology to enhance teaching.
