The Northwest Biotech Initiative would like to invite current graduate students from all disciplines to participate in our upcoming Northern Biotech Consulting Case Competition supported by The Manchester Enterprise Centre.
Please note: the team application deadline has been extended to this Friday, 27th May.
The nature of this competition hopes to bring together students and professionals from a range of multidisciplinary backgrounds to focus on consulting and biotechnology. Acting as consulting firms, teams will present a recommendation to our expert judges on which start-up a large biotech company should acquire to increase its portfolio. Teams will be presented with profiles of several companies containing information regarding intellectual property, product portfolio and clinical trial data a month in advance of the competition. The teams are then asked to make a recommendation regarding a deal between the client and the potential case companies on the day of the competition. The winning team will be awarded a £1000 cash prize sponsored by Adelphi.
