Martin Amis's classic 1984 novel, Money, was subtitled 'A suicide note', and it is a subject to which he has periodically returned in his later novels. This event will see him examine ideas and literature relating to the fraught subject of suicide, in discussion with other leading writers and critics to be announced.
This reading will be followed by a Q & A session.
Martin Amis Public Events are presented by the University's Centre for New Writing.
