We will be printing an image of St Christopher using our antique and fully functional Colombian printing press. We showcase the use of our antique and fully functional Colombian printing press. As part of Manchester’s Medieval Quarter Festival we will be printing an image of the woodcut St Christopher, dated to 1423.
The prints are free to take home after the demonstration. No booking required.
The John Rylands Research Institute and Library, with its extensive and world-famous collections of early printed books, has deep ties to the rich history of heritage printing.
