Pupils are invited to find out about animal research at The University of Manchester as part of a special open day. We invite 45 A-level students (maximum 5 pupils per school) to show why in certain situations, where alternatives are not available, animal research is used by researchers. Pupils take part in lectures, lab work and ethical debates and have a tour of the laboratories to see how animals are kept.
