It’s that time of year again! Hot chocolates, mince pies, snow glistening around a scenic Lovell telescope, and plenty of family fun!
Visit us for our special Christmas Shopping Weekends! Pop in any time from 10am – 6pm to browse our shop for Christmas gift ideas, special offers, demonstrations and our star themed science show! You don’t even need to book admission to do this, our shop (and Cafe!) is open to everyone.
Telescope demonstrations
Shopping for a pro stargazer or young explorer? A representative from Celestron Telescopes will be on hand from 1pm – 6pm, on each Sunday, to demonstrate a range of stargazing products and answer any questions you might have. Of course, our expert staff will also be around all weekend to help you with any other product queries and guide you through our new and exciting product ranges.
Science Shows
While you’re visiting on either of these weekends, you can also enjoy a special live Science Show included in general admission. Our new show will be all about stars and will include some surprising and colourful demonstrations along the way!
No visit to Jodrell Bank is completed without a stop by The Planet Cafe. To celebrate our Christmas weekends, we’ll be offering a free Star Biscuit with every Children’s hot chocolate and a free mince pie with every adult’s hot drink! What’s not to love about that?!
