This seminar is the first of a series of three linked workshops which will bring together researchers from a range of disciplinary fields in SALC to examine how different disciplines within our school articulate creative practice as research.
We intend these workshops to be a space for researchers to explore similarities and differences between disciplines and pedagogies; to consider how ‘applied’ creativity might be brought into research through commissioning and collaboration; and a chance to discuss the benefits of creative collaborations for both research teams and the cultural organisations they work with.
Our broader aim is to build a critical peer network of creative practitioners across our school.
The sessions are open to academic staff and PGR students. Lunch provided.
This event is sponsored by CIDRAL, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Arts and Languages.
