Couturier and costume volunteer Wendy Porter joins Anna Bates, Collections Manager and Assistant Administrator to share some of the delights of the rarely seen Tabley House costume collection.
This talk will be illustrate by costumes and accessories from the collection and will provide a delightful opportunity for Friends and those new to the collection to see up close some of the Leicester family’s exquisite and always fashionable eighteenth and nineteenth- century apparel.
The talk is part of a wider project to further document, research and showcases the costume collection which will lead to a display of items in 2016.
