The UMASS team will be running a Personal Statement workshop on Wednesday 26th July to help you write those all-important Personal Statements. This session will help you decide on what the content of your statement should be, and ways in which you could structure it.
The workshop will last approximately two hours and will introduce you to some of the factors admissions staff at the University look for when deciding which student to make an offer to. The workshop will look to cater for all audiences; those of you who haven’t started writing the statement yet and those of you who have some ideas together already.
There will be a member of the UMASS team alongside a selection of The University of Manchester’s Student Ambassadors. Our Ambassadors are current students here at the University who will be there to talk through their experiences of applying to Higher Education courses and will be at the event to advise in the workshop element of the session.
