This course is designed to raise your ethical awareness and enable you to think and act more ethically as you carry out research. It includes a short introductory presentation to set research ethics in context, discussions of rights and responsibilities at each stage of the research process, plus videos and exercises to embed ethical thinking and decision-making into your research practice. There is a surgery for real-life ethical dilemmas so bring your own, past or present, for discussion; suitably anonymised if necessary. Be prepared to think, learn, challenge and be challenged - and have fun!
