To mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS, Dr Stephanie Snow, Project Director ‘NHS at 70: The Story of Our Lives’, will be giving a special lecture exploring the social history of the NHS.
The lecture will take place on the 24th April 6-8pm in Lecture Theatre B, University Place. There will be a drinks reception from 6pm with the lecture taking place 7-8pm.
Drawing on NHS archives and interviews with the people who were involved in its establishment, Stephanie will reveal how she is creating the first shared social history of the NHS, shining light on many other subjects, such as migration, politics and communications.
