A series of lectures that will provide you with a taster of what you can expect from a lecture when you start university. All sessions will be delivered by academic staff at the University and will cover a variety of subject areas. These are great if you want to get a feel for a subject you’re already interested in, or if you would like to find out more information about a subject you've not previously experienced.
“Getting to grips with the guts” will be an introductory lecture to a topic studied in the first year of Medicine by Professor John McLaughlin. It will introduce the students to the type of lecture which can be expected in Medicine, and will explore an anatomical topic in first year detail.
Professor John McLaughlin, School of Translational Medicine
