Peter Vallentyne is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Unviersity of Missouri and Florence G. Kline Chair in Philosophy. His research interests lie in Ethics and Political Philosophy including the role of liberty, security, equality, and prosperity in the theory of justice; libertarianism (left and right), egalitarianism, consequentialism, responsibility, compensation rights, enforcement rights.
