Join our ECT Community today! Fully funded, expert-designed and delivered professional development for Early Career Teachers in Greater Manchester.

Please note that this Programme is open to Early Career Teachers who have the support of their Headteacher to fully commit to the programme. There is no cost to your school.

Support your ECTs with subject specific CPD to feel more confident teaching science. Through six 2.5-hour sessions, either on Microsoft Teams or in person, ECTs will:

  • Improve knowledge and confidence to teach the science curriculum
  • Learn strategies to enable working scientifically
  • Feel supported by peers and expert course leaders.

Participation includes compulsory gap tasks in between sessions to maximise opportunity to share and embed practice.

The programme will be led by a primary science expert with teaching experience.

You will receive feedback and support from the programme leader throughout, and a certificate of participation will be provided at the end of the year.

You will be able to choose whether you attend in the morning or the afternoon.

We ask that you remain in your chosen group throughout the year. You must be available for all six of these dates:
