Support for students during resits and interruptions ITLF Project - ONLINE
Join Karen Lander and a student partner of the Institute of Teaching and Learning Fellowship Project , a project focused on continuing support for students during resits and interruptions.
The aims of this session are to discuss:
- the methods we already use - and optimally could use - to engage students during resit preparation;
- the challenges and barriers for student re-engagement following interruption;
- the possible recommendations for good practice in terms of student engagement and support, considering ways to help students to improve their self-efficacy and engagement.
These aims will be explored using small group discussion within the workshop. We will also consider potential differences in student engagement levels across course level (UG vs PG), across course topic content and via on-campus and blended delivery modes.
This session will be held online and will take place on Wednesday 17 May from 10:00-10:30. Meeting details will be distributed to those signed up closer to the event.
