This interactive workshop provides a safe space for academic advisors to practice their approach to advising as well as an opportunity to explore good practice in academic advising.

Intended Learning Outcomes

To enable academic advisors to direct students to suitable support resources;

Understand the value of and be able to apply the University's academic advising model;

Recognise the indications of a student in need to support and explore how to approach wellbeing issues;

Be able to structure a conversation with a student in need.
