Five Chinese people arriving in England. Five stories. From a student who has just moved to Manchester, an avid traveller looking for a fresh start, to an elderly man reminiscing about his life before, Another Life looks at the complexities of belonging and finding comfort in a place far away from home. Written and directed by two recent University of Manchester Drama graduates, it was inspired by testimonies from East Asian immigrants in the UK.
Trigger warnings: This production contains flashing lights, loud sounds and discussions of racism.
