Force of Nature
Get close to nature and explore our collections this summer with free, family activities with Manchester Museum.
From fascinating fossils, to up close and personal encounters with Stan the T-rex and immersive sound installations, our summer season is bursting with nature in all its glory.
Take a dance class with a difference, discover a new species in 60 seconds, get to grips with upcycling, or simply enjoy our galleries.
With a collection of over 4.5 million objects and 3 floors of displays and exhibitions, there’s something for everyone this summer.
The museum will be open Wednesday – Sunday, from 11am –4pm every week during the summer holidays until Sunday 29 August. On Wednesday and Fridays priority tickets are available between 11am -12pm for those who need to visit at a quieter time.
Whether you’re a first time visitor or an old friend, we can’t wait to welcome you.
You’ll also be able to enjoy some of our programme from home, through online workshops and downloadable resources.
